We gain two advantages from the use of this energy-saving system. First, we reduce the amount of energy required to reach steam production, and second, we achieve partial deaeration of the feedwater, so increasing the durability of the boiler. Alongside the economizer, a continuous and modulated water feeding system is installed.

The aim of this system is to use the residual heat from the combustion gases to preheat the air needed for combustion. This reduces the energy required to achieve the desired temperature. This in turn increases the efficiency of steam generation, as less fuel is used to obtain the same level of steam production.

Types of installations with steam Thermocompressors:

RECIRCULATION: when the objective is to improve system performance, and therefore production of our equipment, or its efficiency. This setup can generate a performance improvement up to approximately 15%, and a steam saving of up to 5%.

 

RECOMPRESSION: installations with steam thermocompressors incorporated are exclusively aimed at saving systems, where 30% or more steam can be directly saved.

 

Both types of installation can be combined for full energy use.
